Dartmoor Wool Felted Soap & Artworks - Made in Devon

I am a fibre artist and live in South Brent on the edge of Dartmoor.

My work is inspired by the legends, atmosphere and changing colours of the moors.

After doing a work placement in my teens with a weaver, I have always had an interest in spinning and processing wool.

Coming from a family of artists, I am lucky to have their support and encouragement and have loved making and creating various things for sale over the years including hats and children's clothing when I owned my own shop.

Since retiring recently, I have rediscovered my love of all things wooly!
This started after buying my husband a needle felting kit for Christmas which sat in the cupboard until finally being used
by me! This started an adventure with selling my small animal sculptures and pictures at craft fairs.

I use sustainable locally sourced wool wherever possible and love the challenge of upcycling found objects by incorporating them into my work to add interest.
