My name is Tonia and I live (for the time being) in the pretty cathedral city of Worcester in the Midlands. My heart, however, belongs to ridged mountain views, vast skies and the wind blowing the haar inland. In other words, Scotland and the Hebrides.
I have a professional background in museums but have long aimed for something that has meaning outside of four walls and a textbook. I find inspiration in the medieval worlds, in landscape, nature and literature, in art and people. Rocks fascinate me.
Time not spent making dragons is spent on my allotment, reading, exploring ancient sites and searching for fossils. Sometimes I find them. I love to write too, so feel free to sign up to my bi-monthly newsletter full of things I have loved that season.
I believe art should leave as light a footprint on the Earth as possible. In practical terms, this means that almost every part of your dragon will be made from natural, ethically sourced materials, from the body to the heart. The only exception being the copper wire that give the wings structure.
