I love to create artwork including many mediums. Watercolours, acrylics, colored pencils, you name them, using different techniques such as dotting.

My artistic journey started as a child with the obligatory colouring book and pencils. Unlike my siblings I would spend hours happily colouring in the minutest detail and loving every minute. This love of colours grew into drawing my own pictures but I could never paint them, feeling that I had ruined hours of work in one fell swoop. Just like everyone else, life overtook and I got married, had 3 amazing children and held down a job. I didn’t think about art for many decades and thought that maybe that was just for kids. How wrong could I be! During lockdown, like so many others, I found myself with time. Yay!! I came across many inspiring artists offering up their expertice and experience on you tube and picked up a paintbrush for the first time in years. How glad I am for those generous people who gave up their time to teach others. Just like in life, my artwork spiralled. I now paint watercolours, acrylics, dotting, bottle painting, upcycling homeware goods and greeting cards and so much more. I was encouraged by family and friends to sell my pieces, which I did in craft fares etc, but now feel it is time to take my hobby a little more seriously and set up my own shop. I hope you like, in some small way the art that gives me so much joy.
