Hi, my name is Dani and I can briefly sum myself up as a wife, mother of two, animal lover and nature enthusiast. In addition, I have had the pleasure of designing and creating one of a kind artisan jewellery from my home studio for over 25 years
Over the years I have created many collections of jewellery and studied a number of techniques and materials. This journey has lead me to my current collection, exploring colour and texture as a celebration of nature. I call it 'Nature's Way'.
By combining traditional metal smithing techniques with delicate hand sewn bead work, I have developed a method of making that you will not see anywhere else. I also enjoy mixing materials, working in silver, copper, glass beads and paper to name just a few.
My ideas are sparked by observing nature and watching the changing seasons on woodland dog walks, horse rides and family trips to the seaside. Once at my work bench I realise my ideas by letting the metals take their form, allowing each design to build and develop in it's own way. Lastly, I use tiny glass seed beads to build up the colour and texture, individually sewing each one into the metal form by hand. This method ensures each piece is truly one of a kind.
