Welcome to my shop! I hope you enjoy looking around. All of my papercuts are made completely by hand, drawn with a pencil and cut with a very sharp scalpel - so your papercut is made just for you!

I send all my items second class wrapped in eco-friendly packaging. If you would like me to include a note to send directly to a gift recipient please let me know.

Handmade papercuts created in Hull, inspired by nature and cheerful colours!

My name is Hannah and I live in Hull. By profession I am an archaeologist but I have always loved drawing and making things, my favourite part of working in the field was drawing what I had found. When I had my children I started drawing animals and flowers to make milestone cards, birthday cards and pictures for their bedrooms. In 2022 I went on a papercutting course and instantly loved the way that a papercut can bring a picture to life. I kept it up and found that the process of papercutting is so calming amongst all the lovely chaos of life with small children!

Much of my art is inspired by nature but there are also designs that have taken a lot of measuring and tracing - I think this is the technical drawing of archaeology finding a new place to be useful! All of my drawing is done by hand, I never use a computer. I suspect this takes much longer but it is part of what I love to do.
