I am a British leatherworker and designer who has always been mesmerised by masks. When I had the opportunity to change direction for work and train to become a leather worker, challenges regarding following the rules of the craft lead me away from making the general leather bags, belts & wallets.
Never in a million years, had I imagined that I would make masks even though when looking back through my drawings, over 90% of my drawings included masks.
Leatherwork has enabled me to freely work with leather over the years, making up my own rules, designs and creations which are now worn by many globally.
