Busy mum exploring my creative side

I am a busy mum of three energetic boys. Growing up I loved all things art but was made to get a 'proper job' and I trained to be a nurse and have a successful career in nursing. I paint for mindfulness, to relax and just to see if I 'can' do it. Now that my children are older I have started exploring different media and crafts.

I have started Creative by Kat design to test my dream of being able to create pictures and items beautiful enough that people would want to own them. I'm still learning everyday but enjoying the process and trying to accept that 'perfect' isn't always better. I love all things colour and recently discovered the joy of glass painting.
