Hi, I'm Sue - the maker behind Created by Sue. I'm inspired by colour, texture and the simple satisfaction of turning "I wonder if I could make that..." into something real. My ideas usually arrive when I'm supposed to be doing something else, and they often lead me down delightful rabbit holes of paper, fabric and craft supplies.

I started this journey after years of dabbling in every craft under the sun. eventually I realised I was spending more time making things than anything else so I decided to stop pretending it was just a hobby and open a shop.

I work from my home studio on the outskirts of Peterborough - a cosy space full of materials, half-finished projects and cups of tea that go cold while I'm concentrating.

Everything you see here is handmade by me from start to finish. I make cards, journals, bookmarks, fabric accessories and small gifts, and I'm always experimenting with new ideas.
