I started teaching myself to fuse glass over 20 yrs ago and I haven't stopped. I've used a microwave kiln for those 20+ yrs and in 2023 I got my big girl kiln!

I create, teach and share what I do in person and online.
I create fun whimsical pieces for everyday wear, home decor and other items.

I have been creating memorial jewellery encasing ashes in glass for many may years, way before it was a 'thing'. There wasn't even anything to research when I was asked to do it.
My 1st piece was.an experiment and we smuggled a husband into Egypt for a holiday!
I've since many pieces for people and I am blessed to be able to use my skills to bring some comfort to people who are grieving.

I'm motivated by the look on someone's face when they see my work. Also bills, we all have to pay bills haha. My 10yr old, as a single mum, is also a massive motivator.
I'm inspired by everything I see in a day, it could be a dress, the sky or a puddle. My brain just goes straight o 'how can I use that's mode.

My achievements 2023/24 are winning an award, being a finalist in another and getting my work into a beautiful Abbey here in Devon, at the award winning Devon Eco Boutique, doing my 1st solo exhibition in Pershore and working out how to get glass making workshops mobile! Oh, I kept an orchid alive...winning!
