Copper Basins and Taps began with one simple idea: to make a copper sink for my own home, upcycled and repurposed from a beautiful old French copper cooking pot. What started as a personal project soon grew into something much bigger, leading me to design and make my own copper and brass taps to complement the basins.
Over the last few years, the range has expanded naturally through customer requests for different styles, sizes and finishes. Each piece is made with care, combining practical plumbing knowledge with a love of characterful, timeless materials. I particularly enjoy giving copper a new purpose, creating pieces that feel both useful and unique.
I am a self-employed plumber and gas engineer with over 40 years’ experience, and that background is at the heart of everything I make. My designs are not just decorative — they are made with real homes, kitchens, bathrooms and campervans in mind. All taps can be made to measure, and I am always happy to answer questions about fitting, suitability and the best option for your space.
