Hello,

My name is Sarah and I started my cottage business as a way to make my hands busy and to unwind in the evenings after work. I sit in my little cupboard, locked away from the world and create clay crafts.

As a newly started hobby, all my crafts have flaws and imperfections, but that adds to the charm of their handmade process. Each one is individual and I am continuously improving my techniques to raise the quality of what I produce.

I never intended to sell my creations but after creating so many, I decided that unless I could sell them, then what would be the point in refining my creations? Who would see them and enjoy them? And how would I be motivated to explore my creative side and create more?

So Cleerly Clay was born. The name is based on where I live and works as an explanation of what I create.

I hope you will join me on my journey and offer your advice, suggestions and ideas to help create the products that you would like to purchase.
