I have been making jewellery for over 30 years .I love creating one off pieces, precious keepsakes, heirloom jewellery, engagement and wedding rings, along with re-modelling preloved jewellery into something more contemporary. I am inspired by texture, form, colour and mark making, which is reflected in my work. I am influenced by my surroundings , the mountains around me, the water running through the glens, the rugged shorelines of the West Coast of Scotland. I have always had a love for nature, and my practice in the studio reflects my need to want to make things as environmentally friendly as possible. I use only eco metals, which are 100% recycled , and I only use precious gems that come from ethical dealers, although we have started to cut our own in house too, so thre will be some more organic shapes coming later. I am always happy to remodel, or melt down and use any precious items that you might like to add into a design, please feel free to contact me.
