I got back into knitting in 2012 when I joined a local knitting group and have been truly hooked aver since. I initially learned to knit from my grandmother and today, with every stitch, I remember her.
I fell in love with the name 'Cassiopeia' when I first read Michael Ende's story Momo, which was given to me by one of my aunts. In this story the little girl Momo befriends a tortoise named Cassiopeia and together they fight the time thieves or 'Men in Grey.' Ende's story is a perfect parable for our hectic lives today as well as consumerism and uniformity, so, I think Cassiopeia is a fitting name for my colourful designs that are made slowly and by hand.
I use quality materials, mostly natural animal and plant fibres. If you see something in my shop, but want it in a different fibre, then please don't hesitate to contact me.
Have fun and colour your life,
