I can only hand sew; this is a hobby that keeps me happy. I make greeting cards for all, samplers, macramé jewellery, small soya candles, crochet lap and cot blankets! Small padded cross stitch and embroidery cards, real keepsakes, some of my design for special occasions.
My embroidered and drawn cards are always a bit quirky but I love pre-Renaissance and Mannerist period, my favourite artists are Gioto, Mantegna and Pieter Bruegel the Elder!!
I have revistited crochet blankets after making one in the early 70's for our bed. Now I have made 2 different granny squares patterns for the grandsons beds which they love.
I have been married for 50yrs and live in a quiet village in The Cotswolds.
