My name is Blue, and I’m a self-taught artist and painter. I absolutely love painting by hand, sat with some lovely music and a hot cup of tea.
I’ve been painting for as long as I can remember, but it was during lockdown that I began painting miniature houses, and soon after, pets followed. I work from Studio Blue, a cozy corner of my home often visited by my mischievous cat, Wednesday. Painting is my sanctuary; I find immense joy in detailed work and will spend hours crafting a piece until it is finished. Alternatively I can be found scribbling a piece out that ends up capturing your pet, or splashing across a page with ink in one of my favourite 'Ink Drop' pieces, ideal for black or black and white cats & dogs. All priced according to detail and time.
I paint for many people - some pieces are memorials, some joyful depictions of beloved pets, childhood homes, and places that matter, past or present. All I need is a photograph and I will bring it to life.
In addition to painting, I handcraft beautifully written letters on fine paper, using old-fashioned dipping pens and sealing wax. They are perfect for birthdays, graduations, holidays, and even letters from Santa.
Each piece is a small window into a cherished memory or a heartfelt celebration.
