Hi, I'm Ilona, the maker behind Bent Wyr.

Bent Wyr began as a way to turn simple materials into something unexpected. Working primarily with aluminium wire, beads and found components, I create handmade jewellery and sculptural adornments that sit somewhere between wearable art and everyday objects.

Inspired by nature, folk traditions, strange shapes, tangled hedgerows, old treasures and the beauty of imperfection, each piece is bent and formed by hand in Manchester. No two are ever exactly alike, and that's part of the joy.

I love creating one-off pieces, custom commissions and jewellery that feels personal to the person wearing it. From statement earrings and bolo ties to necklaces and sculptural experiments, everything is made slowly and with care.
