We burn, turn, paint and create unique keepsakes and future heirlooms

We're a husband & wife creative team from the Wiltshire border.
The New Forest is less than half a mile from our doorstep and is the main inspiration for our work.
Andy, (the husband), can be found most evenings and weekends in his shared workshop, (with a son), on his lathe, honing his woodturning skills to great effect to produce bowls, pens, christmas ornaments, and various wedding and baby keepsakes, all out of locally sourced, sustainable timber - mostly native woods with the New Forest Marque from a local supplier.
He started woodturning 3 years ago after receiving a very old lathe. When he broke that one, he got a new one. The largest item he has turned is a bathroom sink in yew.
Sometimes he hands items to his wife, Bee, to make her mark and add colour.
Bee caught the creative bug at primary school and it never went away. Even during exams and a career in graphic design, Bee painted and worked on commissions. She has sold paintings all over the world.
Three years ago, Andy asked her to decorate a platter, she discovered pyrography.
A whole different art form, but still using her drawing skills, she burns and shades using a special heated tool. To colour, she uses special wood stains and acrylics that allow the beauty of the woodgrain to show through. She works on collaborations with Andy, as well as using locally milled and sourced natural wood slices to produce wallart.
