I make individually handcrafted bags from recycled coffee bean sacks and othe repurposed fabrics

My sewing story began as a young child and since then I've enjoyed creating everything from wedding dresses to mixed media textile art.

In 2019 I experimented turning a couple of donated coffee bean sacks into bags just for fun.

My husband offered to take some bags to a networking event for some feedback and came home with an order and that's where 'Been Sacks' began.

Since then the range and style of the bags has constantly evolved, using different fabrics, colours and finishing touches. Giving every bag a one-of-a-kind feel.
