I create one of a kind hand stitched teddy bears

So .. about the bears, I used to create lots of different styles of bears, I have worked with mohair, plush, and viscose. I have made traditional bears, realistic bears, contemporary bears but since going vegan a number of years ago, I ensure that all my creations are suitable for vegans

I have learned over the years, in particular from my own collecting habits, that if I fall for a particular type of bear, I will always go back to the same artist for more. So I decided the only way to ensure people would keep coming back to buy my bears, was to find 'my style' and stick with it.

I have made bears from 28" to 1.5" and everything in between, I have learned lots of techniques such as pulled toes, needle sculpting, wire armature, closing eyelids and even creating and fixing individual resin claws. All of these things have created wonderful bears in the past, and for a while I wanted to showcase all my new learned skills, but I wanted to create something that I loved. but wasn't too time consuming.
I used to work 4 days a week and dedicated my midweek day off to making bears, however I changed jobs in 2021 and now I work 5 days a week, so have to fit bear making into my evenings and weekends when I can.

Generally now I create traditional styled jointed bears and my popular and very cute pocket pal bears. often I create other other animals such as elephants and rabbits and some fun seasonal creations.
I am very critical of my own work and strive to create the best bear I can each and every time.
