handmade gifts for babies and children

I love to knit, I adore babies and I am committed to giving something back to society - put them together and babashuh is the result.
My 30 year career in public relations and marketing culminated in a role as Marketing Director for an independent gift shop selling arts and crafts handmade in Scotland. Inspired by the creativity around me, I established my own craft business, then got in touch with Bliss, the charity for babies born premature or sick.
I am delighted to be Edinburgh Community Ambassador for Bliss and to fundraise through my business to help 'preemie' babies and their families. For every ten pounds you spend with us, one pound is donated directly to the charity to help fund their extremely valuable work.
When I'm knitting I am usually sitting on the sofa with my feet up, watching old films on TV. I also have my craft room where all my supplies - from frames to ribbon to buttons live in a (fairly) organised manner and I can put things together. My two mannequin mascots, Lady and The Tramp also reside in the craft room.
