Based in rural England, Arthur Black Woodware began producing hand carved signs and plaques to special order. After designing and building two personalised specialist racks, we began to receive more requests to design and build custom pieces.
After finally conquering a natural ineptitude with all things computer related, Arthur Black Woodware is unleashed on the internet.
This has presented the opportunity to offer some of our favourite designs to a worldwide audience, and if some people like them, that is fantastic.
We try to design pieces that are functional and make the best use of space, yet have a dash of charm, and look good too.
We still carve plaques, and build custom racks, so if you like our work, but have something particular in mind, just contact us, we will be happy to see if we can help.
