HandWeaver Designer Maker

I was born in Cumbria and I now live and work in the beautiful Scottish Borders. I specialise in designing and making handcrafted woven designs with unusual surface textures and patterns.

I have an Honours Degree in Design Crafts and a Masters Degree in Woven Textile Design with Computer Application, and I have pursued my creative practice since leaving college in 2000.

My studio is in my home and I weave on a narrow width ‘Harris’ weaving loom. The qualities that I enjoy are best represented through lace weaving. I can translate inspiration found in natural patterns and textures through using this technique.
