From a young child, Ceri has always been creative, having a Mum who was a dressmaker meant there was no choice in learning to sew or knit and crochet. Add in living in a small rural village in the days way before 5 TV channels and the internet meant that apart from books, entertainment had to be found elsewhere.The love of crafting evolved with time; marriage, babies, divorce.
Paul too developed a passion for art in his younger years, even painting murals for his young daughters. Anything intricate, Paul was enthralled.

When we both met and married, and our blended family flew the nest, we found ourselves with a little more time on our hands. Am Byth (welsh for forever) was originally created to sell handmade jewellery made by me. Paul came on board shortly after with resin products, spray painting and laser engraving and wood crafts. Today, we now offer a whole range of crafts, each one unique and made with love from our home in Gloucestershire. We enjoy making things which are beautiful and sustainable. We try not to waste anything - even wooden off cuts are hand painted and turned into keyrings or fridge magnets. You'll also notice that our little dog, Luna features occasionally too!

There are still some hand sewn projects in there, because Mums are for am byth, not just for childhood x
