Traditional upholstery created today, built to be an antique of the future.

It gives me a real sense of pride knowing that what I create now, will become a vintage or antique piece of the future.
Starting out like many, upholstery was a hobby which in turn is now my business. I practice both traditional and modern upholstery although my heart is in using the traditional methods and where possible natural materials. I take great satisfaction that I am carrying on an age old craft and that any piece that I create will be around for many years to come.
My small workshop is in my garden and I have three rescue dogs who are my working companions, they follow me everywhere!

Beautifully hand crafted in a luxurious velvet with a black background bursting with bright, shimmering roses and foliage. If you look closely, you will see a beautiful tiger peeping at you. The turned legs compliment the stool with a soft gold finish with brass caster feet..
I have created this footstool using traditional upholstery, using all natural materials (no foam) and hand stitching. Built to last and to become a antique of the future!
