Steampunk Jewellery handmade using authentic antique Watch Movements

Making Jewellery is my passion Steampunk Jewellery, I have been designing and making for the last 5 years first as a hobby ( like most of us ) and now as a small business I took the leap 6 months ago , the fact that people buy and wear my Jewellery is such a high compliment.
My life after spending over 20 years in sales has changed for the better although at the time I didn't think so, it's the best thing that could have happened.
I work at home my spare bedroom is now a studio , my dog Daisy ( adorable) and I spend our days in there it's my haven , although we do break off to go out through the woods a couple of times blow the cobwebs away , Daisy is 2 so has lots of energy so we play as we walk .
I cannot thank my partner enough for believing in me and encouraging my passion after all these years.
My Jewellery is made by hand using spot soldering were applicable finish in a hard wearing high shine gloss although delicate my pieces are hard wearing as I believe fashion Jewellery should be.

Altered Art Jewellery Designs I Design and make a range of Steampunk Jewellery using only authentic antique Watch movements each piece of jewellery is unique in design although some are similar , this is because watch movements are so diverse and different.
I use spot soldering were applicable for a secure bond then layer a hard wearing high shine gloss which will protect and stand the test of time.
Steampunk has always been around but it becoming very popular but would still be described as niche for those of us who like something a little different.
My Watch movements are all purchased in the U.K. I source watches then remove the movements therefore I can guarantee the authenticity of my materials.
I also design bespoke peices for individuals.
My passion is designing my jewellery I love nothing more than being in my studio and creating beautiful designs, however the biggest compliment is seeing a person wearing a piece of my jewellery.
