Hi, I’m Alison, the creator behind All About The Beads. I live in West Yorkshire with my husband and our lovely 12-year-old Cavachon, Charlie. My jewellery-making journey began in 2023 after I injured my hip and needed a creative hobby while I was unable to move around much. What started as making polymer clay bracelets for fun—simply to gift to family and friends—soon became something much bigger when a work colleague encouraged me to start selling them. That’s how All About The Beads with Alison was born.
Since then, I’ve fallen in love with designing and creating handmade jewellery and accessories ,using all kinds of beads, though semi-precious gemstones hold a special place in my heart. My favourite part of the process is the design stage, especially when working on custom-made pieces. I love taking a customer’s colour scheme or idea and spending time carefully bringing it to life in a unique design made just for them.
