Hi, I'm Ali and I'm the artist behind AlisonSeversArt.
I have made art since I was a small child. Having created small gifts for friends and family for many years, I decided I should finally branch out further. I am inspired a lot by nature, so you will see lots of animals, plants and hopefully natural beauty in my designs. I also like to bring warmth and positivity to others through my work. Having experienced difficulties with my mental health, l know it's often the little things that help the most. I keep this at the forefront of my mind when creating my designs. So, my hope is that you will find a pocket of positivity and peaceful nature when looking at my art work.
Working at my desk in my spare room is where I create most of my designs, often accompanied by my big soppy dog. I love to work with a variety of different materials. Art is where my inner child is set free, so I am always playing and experimenting. Some of my favourite materials are watercolours, colouring pencils and fine liner pens. I also like to create lino prints, and do some bookmaking. Making stationary is so fun for me because I have a secret obsession, having collected it since I was a child.
