Welcome to my workshop.
For over 30 years, I have lived and breathed leatherwork. My journey has been shaped by learning from master craftspeople, formal training, and decades of personal experimentation with design and technique. To me, leather is a wonderfully versatile material—one that allows me to create pieces that acquire their own unique character, deepening in beauty over time.
Provenance & Material
I choose my materials with intent. I work with a variety of premium hides, including rare leathers naturally tanned right here in Nidderdale using traditional, centuries-old oak tanning methods.
The Philosophy Behind the Craft
My inspiration comes from contrasting worlds—the organic, natural shapes of the Yorkshire landscape, balanced against striking architectural and industrial forms.
