Handcrafted polymer clay and brass jewellery, designed, created and finished by hand in small batches

Hello and welcome to WildPeak Clay, if you have found yourself on my page then we already share one thing in common, a love for handmade products. I have always favoured handmade over mass produced, i love that every handmade product has involved so much of someones time and efforts to make something so lovely and unique. I’m proud to say that i hand design, create and assemble all our pieces, from start to finish, using polymer clay and brass. All of our earrings are finished with lead and nickel free earring findings to protect those with sensitive ears. Everything is slow made in small batches from my little studio in Derbyshire.

So how did the business begin? It began in the winter of 2020 with a busy brain and doodles on a notepad. I have always been interested in art and the creative side of life, I studied art at higher level and that passion has followed me through life. I’ve always been drawn to beautiful jewellery, I remember looking through my Grandmas as a child and being so drawn in by the colours and intricacy of some pieces. My passion for art and my love of jewellery gave me the urge to start WildPeak Clay.

When i discovered polymer clay i was amazed at the way it could be manipulated into something beautiful. I found my love for working with clay very quickly, i was soon hand mixing my colours and creating designs.

It’s always been important to me that my business is as eco friendly as possible, as a society that wastes a lot and contributes to an ever growing climate crisis i wanted to ensure that WildPeak Clay wasn’t contributing. Polymer clay is made to last, its very durable and if treated with care can last a long time. Because of the processes i use to design and create i am able to reuse my clay in other designs meaning that there is very minimal clay wastage. In terms of packaging, i have carefully selected packaging that can be recycled, from our letterbox cardboard boxes, to pulp fibre tissue paper, you can be assured that your purchase is a conscious one.

I have created pieces to be worn by all, whether you a lover of big earrings, or smaller studs there is something for everyone.
