Bringing wool to life with unique, handcrafted needle felted art that tells a story in every fibre

It all started at a Christmas fair at my daughter's school. There was a stall loaded with the most intricate needle-felted fairies and mice and I stood there scratching my head wondering how in the world someone could make them look so lively. My daughter dragged me away before I had the chance to ask the stallholder and I tried to look it up when I got home but all I found was "fuzzy felts". It wasn't until I stumbled on a local "needle felting" class many years later that it clicked. I took the class, picked up that needle and that was me - completely hooked.

These days I work in a corner of my house near the Pentland Hills in Edinburgh. Ive claimed a corner of the house with my wool and felt with my cat, Mr Pickle either snoozing or causing chaos nearby. I make the things that I love, wildlife, beautiful scenery, florals - mostly nature. I hope my pieces bring a smile to someone's face, spark a memory or just add a little bit of warmth to the day.
