I create one-of-a-kind wooden artefacts forged in fire and metal.

Mad Men Garage is a small independent workshop based in the UK. I started creating wooden artefacts from a need to build objects that feel solid, lasting and deliberate — not disposable.

I work from a garage workshop, where wood, fire and metal meet. Every piece begins as raw material and is shaped slowly by hand. I use controlled burning, manual finishing and carefully selected metal details to give each object weight and character.

I don’t follow trends and I don’t produce in volume. I create in small numbers, focusing on form, proportion and presence.

Each artefact is made to stand on its own.

Buying from me

Each piece is made from scratch and is a unique, one-of-one object.
I work within recognisable styles, but I never replicate previous works one to one — every piece differs in form, proportions and finish.
Requests for a similar piece are treated as inspiration, not replication.
You receive the exact item shown in the photos.
All orders are securely packaged and dispatched via tracked delivery with insurance covering the full value of the piece.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
