Hi, my name is Vicky Painter and I am a pet portrait artist, living in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands. This is my space where I spend most of my time, drawing animals, drinking endless cups of tea and listening to records on my record player. I am inspired by the surrounding countryside and I am truly grateful for it.

I have a Diploma in Art & Design and a Diploma in Illustration. I use coloured pencils to create my animal artwork - I like the level of detail and colour blending I can achieve from them in a soft, realistic and painterly style.

Having won the "Bill Spry" Award in 2017 at the local arts centre for a dog illustration in colour pencil - I was chuffed to bits to win first prize. Since then I have been commissioned to illustrate many pet portraits locally. I am available for commissions and offer two sizes plus a greeting card option making my work bespoke and unique.
