I'm happy when you are happy

Hi my name is Alison and Treazures is my shop. I love crafts and they fill a place in my Heart that must create. i have been making Jewellery since i was a child. i didn't have tools but had a few broken teeth along the way. When i was a Teacher i taught Jewellery Making on a OCN and NCFE course. I also taught a mixture of crafts on a NCFE course as well as for fun. At present I sell just Jewellery but will expand to sell sewn items especially Sashiko and Japanese embroidery. Along the line I will also sell Watercolour paintings and cards. Just before Lockdown I had my first solo exhibition which if i may boast was a huge success. i was cursing that I got such an early spot which meant I was rushed to paint ehough. Then because of Covid, the Gallery shut just as my exhibition closed and remained closed for much of that and some of the following year.So from this is a lesson; be care ful what you wish for
.I discovered precious and semi-precious gemstones could now be purchased direct. this allowed me to create Jewellery once reserved for the Rich and Famous. Because I source these gems I make jewellery at affordable prices: Just for you.I am Disabled with hEDS an autoimmune disease That means collagen in my body is defective.Linked to this, I also have an early degenerative back. I have been mostly bedridden so my workshop has been my bedroom. What once was a dressing table now has stacked trays for jewellery making and wicker baskets full of sewing essentials. In January I had the third operation on my back and am now facing a long road to recovery.Without crafts surrounding me I would not have survived, they are my Love my lifeline.During the day two Golden Retrievers share the bed, they jump on the bed first thing. i rush to get a dust cover pulled over. They are Raffi and Jackson. Raffi is like a bull in a China shop, Jackson is a gentle old soul.
