My passion for woodworking began in 2011 when by chance my more practical brothers and dad weren't available to build an archway we had promised an elderly neighbour. So, I did my best to mash together the little knowledge I had to build this archway on my own and from then on I've been addicted to challenging myself to improve my woodworking skills and knowledge.
My main inspiration is to bring discarded, unwanted and forgotten wood back to life and to create pieces of original and functional art showing the versatility that wood can offer. Since my shed is small I found myself working almost exclusively with hand tools, using traditional woodworking methods and putting my heart into every piece I make.
Using unwanted wood from old furniture, logs, building sites, factories, cabinet makers offcuts and more I create small items for the home such as hand carved clocks, hand carved pens, boxes of all shapes and sizes, key racks, signs, desk tidies, book stands and much more. Chances are if you have a small item you want for your home then I'll be able to make it with recycled wood and very little electricity.
