About The Little Eco Fairy

The Little Eco Fairy

Kind to the earth, made by hand

Hi. I'm Chez and I am a self taught Mixed Media Artist, living by the beautiful North East Coast of Scotland in Morayshire with my husband of nearly 25 years! I was born and grew up in Farnborough in Hampshire but settled up in this beautiful area when my husband left the RAF some years ago.

With my concern for all the things that get thrown into landfill daily and my love of nature and the wildlife, it is important to me to do something where sustainability is key but at the same time, producing something that makes someone smile. I work from my Studio on the platform of an old Railway Station, where I love to transform the old, broken and overlooked into a quirky or whimsical pieces of art or jewellery by layering recycled fabric and other materials, painstakingly detailing, then hand painting, embellishing and sealing with an eco friendly varnish. This process can be very timely but it's worth it when the that finish piece come to life!

Sustainability is at the very heart of my creative process and so I exclusively pair my reclaimed, unloved and repurposed items and materials with eco friendly, non toxic mediums and sustainable packaging. This means that every piece you choose is completely unique and gentle on the planet.
