I, Amy, am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.
When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Folksy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Folksy, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Folksy to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.

I create hand-made chainmail jewellery and snagless stitch markers. All my jewellery pieces are hand-woven from individual jump rings in a variety of sizes and metals.
I aim to ship all "in stock" orders within 3 working days, and all our pieces are made by hand from ethically sourced material and are created in a smoke, pet and allergy-free environment.
I am happy to provide a quote for a piece on the site to be made in other metals or to design a one of a kind custom piece.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
We will provide replacements for any items that are damaged upon receipt by the customer. Please note, however, that we will only issue a replacement once the damaged item has been returned and received by us - there will be no extra charge by us for sending out the replacement item, however, the cost of returning the damaged item must be covered by the customer. We will provide no refund for this cost.
Terms and conditions for the return of one of a kind custom orders will be detailed as part of the quotation process and must be accepted along with the other details of the quotation.
Any items that the customer is not satisfied with may be returned to us for either a swap for an item of identical cost (i.e. the same item in a different colour) or a refund on the item price - we are unable to refund any shipping costs.
Requests for refunds should be sent within 7 working days of receipt of item and items that are to be refunded should be received by us within 30 working days of the initial transaction for EU orders and 60 days for international orders. All items returned for any reasons other than damage upon receipt by the client must be securely packaged and received by us in good condition - any items that are received in a damaged condition will be ineligible for refund and will be returned to the customer.
We are unable to process any refunds on earrings other than those supplied with clip on backs designed for non-pierced ears.
Orders under £20 in value will be shipped without additional insurance - for these items, customers should allow 7 working days within the UK and 10 working days outside the UK to report non-receipt of items.
Orders over £20 will be shipped via Special Delivery or the Airmail equivalent. Within the UK these items should be received within 2 working days and outside the UK within 7 working days. We would ask that you allow an additional 2 working days beyond this time before contacting us about non-receipt of an item.
In all cases we will begin investigating non-receipt of items as soon as it is reported to us and in most (but not all) cases will ship a replacement item as soon as possible while we settle the issue with the Post Office.
