Mavina Baker Prints

I’m Mavina, I'm a printmaker and I make prints, books and cards in my studio in West Mersea, on the Essex coast.

As an artist ideas are paramount, but I believe craftsmanship is an important element of printmaking too, and hand-printing allows me to make each piece individual. It's a slow process, hand-printing and hand-binding, which involves a lot of thinking and proofing and innumerable cups of coffee.

I’m an artist printmaker who loves telling a story and feels both excited and privileged that the books I make are shared and enjoyed by bookworms everywhere.

My hand-made books and prints are inspired by wildlife and the passing of the seasons that surrounds me here in the countryside and the tidal marsh-lands of the Essex coast on Mersea Island.

Buying from me

Specialising in relief and digital print techniques and letterpress, Teacup Press creates one-off’s and limited edition hand-made books, prints, posters and greetings cards. Everything is produced and hand-printed in my studio workshop in Wiltshire.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
