I’m a happy woodturner and graphite pencil sketcher.

Hi my name is Audie.
I retired 4 years ago after working for 49 years. I loved my job but when I retired I needed to find a hobby to occupy my time. I had always been interested in working with wood and art so decided to buy a wood lathe and a set of graphite pencils.. These items have changed my life. I now spend time in my craft room doing wood turning and sketching. The items I make or draw bring me so much pleasure. To start with a block of wood or a plain piece of paper and turn it into something to be proud of is so gratifying and fulfilling. I take great pride in my pieces. I’m not happy unless it’s as good as It can be.
