Susy Fuentes - Oxfordshire Animal Portrait Artist
For the last five years Susy has worked as pet portrait artist offering commission work to various clients primarily covering dogs, cats and horses. Other less frequent requests which she has fulfilled have included rabbits, donkeys and even an owl.
Susy has had a life long passion for creating art and has studied it in various forms throughout formal education through to degree level where she holds a bachelors in fashion design. Given this, she have a good understanding of the art landscape and wide set of skills producing quality work across numerous mediums. Following her degree, she worked for a number of years in fashion prediction which helped hone her ability to identify and produce new, dynamic work within the arts - something she has carried across into her portraiture.
Outside of formal education Susy has continued to challenge herself, learning new skills relating to her portrait work, including illustration lessons with established picture book artist Korky Paul and regular life drawing classes.
Susy's latest collection - Pet Portraiture painted with acrylic paints, along with her other work, captures the energy of her portrait work and fills a gap in the art market for contemporary, lively and vivid animal portraits.
As an artist, Susy produces high quality commissions to deadlines with a strong turnaround.
