Hello I'm Debbie and I live in Portsmouth.
I started creating original and quirky handmade plushie creations for my children when I was unable to find any unusual soft toys with Skulls on, that were kid friendly and machine washable. So I started Steam Bear & Co.
I also made sure that my handmade plushies were still very soft and cuddly.
I love steampunk and have made a couple of handmade plushies with this inspiration, and suitable for kids.
I also make Sock Creations for playing with or decorating your desk.
Nothing brightens up a boring desk, than a sock Bunny!!
My kids are my greatest inspiration and the best critics too!
Making toys for them and the delight on their faces and how much I enjoyed making them.
My creations are all original designs by me, individually made, making each unique in their own way! Giving each their own personality.
I also put my creations through the CE Self Certification. Took time, patience, sweat and tears (from burning your toy creations) but I can now safely say they are all CE certified and suitable from birth.

Dudette arrived today. She is intended for my niece's daughter. I'm sure she will love her! She is such a fun and funky softie and beautifully made. I love her belly! It will be hard not to keep her for myself :) She was carefully packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Thank you for the cute magnet included in the package too. You have lots of lovely things in your shop and I would definitely recommend you and keep you in mind should any more children appear! Thank you x
