Hi - I'm Harriet - Sputnik Jewellery. I'm based in the lovely county of Somerset, although I was born and bred in the Midlands. You will see hints of both places in my jewellery - the sea and our industrial heartland. Sputnik comes from my other great love - space and the world - Sputnik means fellow traveller in Russian if you wondered. I try to focus on using upcycled materials in my jewellery. All of my silver is upcycled, either by me or my supplier. I'm not a fan of mined gemstones, unless I can be sure of the origins and the conditions of the mine. That said I do love a bit of sparkle so you will sometimes see some ethical jewels creep in :)

I absolutely love all of the jewellery I have by Sputnik Jewellery and this beautiful heart pendant is no exception. Harriet is incredibly creative and talented in both her designs and choice in and use of materials, and I am never disappointed!

Sputnik Jewellery always design original ideas often upcycling old silver, beach finds etc. I always look forward to my purchases arriving and know that no one else will have the same earrings or necklace on! An artist who cares about her work and her customers.
