Based in Hampshire, UK and with over ten years experience in Theatre, TV and Film, Shelley now uses the various skills learned in prop making, SFX makeup and more to create pieces inspired by her love of the spooky, weird and macabre.
Spookspell & Co. Spooks are created from an original sculpt and hand cast using Jesmonite, finished with varnish, paint and resin. Each piece is lovingly hand poured and finished, resulting in a truly unique piece. These pieces have been an amazing new experience, allowing for more of an organic approach to making Art, as the nature of these pieces mean the outcome is less predictable than much of Shelley's work, which has been a welcome change in her creative journey.
