They are really lovely pieces with beautiful grain, and the idea is great. I personally find the winding too fiddly to be using them on a day-to-day basis, but hey are great for longer term storage or gifting earphones. Phones with volume regulators inline are a bit tricky. Not sure overall: in theory, great idea; excellent craftsmanship, but in practice, too fiddly.
