Based on the stunning coast of South East Cornwall, I take inspiration from my surroundings and occasionally further afield.
Using my own illustrations, designs are hand-printed using lino cut methods onto linen and cotton.
Occasionally you might see a piece of fabric that's caught my eye, made into something lovely!

Welcome to Sea Sew Blue.

Louise is an illustrator and textile designer based on the beautiful Rame Peninsula in South East Cornwall.
Her inspirations are the stunning coastlines and natural beauty of of her surroundings, which provide the basis for her illustrations. She then creates lino blocks and hand prints onto linen and cottons, creating superb home ware and gifts.

Louise has many years experience of sewing and crafting. She fell in love with fabrics and began making for friends and family. Having always had an obsession with the sea, once Louise made the move to Cornwall, her obsession gave her the motivation to create her own products and Sea Sew Blue was born.
Mainly self taught, Louise has developed her practise to a high standard. She studied at the Plymouth College of Art on an illustration course and she was introduced to Lino Printing. Falling in love with the art form, Louise knew that this is what she'd been looking for and began transforming her illustrations into lino blocks.
Louise hand prints everything and every print is unique. Her work has a somewhat rustic, imperfect look which she feels represents the ever changing organic coastline around her. Her work is constantly evolving with set core designs and seasonal additions.As everything is handmade, Louise has the flexibility of making to order. Buying from me

Most of my work is made to order and has a time frame of 7-10 days from point of order to dispatch.
In the unlikely event of a delay, I will of course inform you at the earliest convenience. However, if your order is needed by a specific date, please let me know at the point of ordering.

Every order will arrive neatly packaged, ready to be gifted to someone special or yourself!

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.

Happy customers are my top priority. I don't dispatch anything I wouldn't want to receive myself!
