I create small handmade textile pieces inspired by everyday details—especially birds, animals and little countryside cottages.

Using printed fabric, stitching, and hand embroidery, I build up gently padded, three-dimensional images that sit somewhere between picture and object. Each piece is made slowly and individually, often set into simple tins or frames so they feel like small keepsakes.

Born in Yorkshire, now living in Derbyshire, I have a degree in art & design and among other creative work, have been an illustrator for BBC Children’s magazines and a graphic designer/textile artist for Nottingham museums
