I enjoy producing items from raw and tough materials like concrete, brass, copper and gold. Handcrafted in the UK with mainly made to order items, celebrating your individuality and uniqueness.
Taking inspiration from my everyday surroundings, Nature, modern structures and Architecture. My aim is to blend art and craft using raw and man-made materials, like paper, copper and concrete, and transforming them into bold, minimal works, which can also be fun, light-hearted and celebratory.
A little about me
I'm Richard Andrzejewski owner, artist, designer and maker behind RichMakes.
Graduating from Central St Martins College of Art & Design in 2001 with a BA(Hons) Theatre Design for Performance. I've been an assistant to theatre, event and dance designers as well as a set and costume designer on productions in my own right.
I created RichMakes as a further creative outlet to share exciting products.
My vision is to bring you handmade accessories for your home made out of the materials that surround our everyday lives.
Although my shop on Etsy was only recently opened I'm looking to further develop my product range with planters, candle holders and home decorations. I am always open to interesting ideas and suggestions, so please do message me here or strike up a conversation it would be great to say Hello!
