Individual and bespoke items created from found objects

I have been making and creating naturalistic items from recycled wood and metal for a number of years.
Initially I started experimenting with ideas of creating beasts of various kinds with salvaged materials. Some components instantly had the look of a head or body, some needed more imagination.
I hate waste and love repurposing unwanted items into artwork and more practical everyday item such as clocks and candlesticks, but my love lies in the beasties!!
The taxidermy and scrap sculptures are the product of this imagination combined with my collections of unusual unwanted things. I prefer the term upcycled rather than recycled .
In a more honest way I would describe my work as repurposed paraphernalia!!
