Egyptian Scarab Drop Earrin...
RealPebbleJewels£28.00
Back in 1976 I went to Art School in Epsom Surrey and discovered jewellery making.
The next year I set up my first garden studio where I designed and made jewellery for high street jewellery shops.
Before long I was doing trade repairs and re-makes for these shops. I've always enjoyed repairing jewellery, especially the antique pieces. Looking closely at the old-school skills and techniques which went into jewellery making in previous centuries is an education in itself. This has influenced my style and preferences... I don't do minimalism, I don't do grey, I don't copy anyone else's jewellery.
Colour, texture and mixed media, with a narrative behind the jewel, combine to make fascinating pieces. If people are intrigued by my jewellery, and they don't want minimalism, here I am, say hello.
Commissions are always welcome.
