I start my montages with some images chosen at random and then try to harmonise them. As I do that other ideas emerge and I can carry on with a theme.

In 2025 I came across; 85% of female figurative art is created by men, personally I think the percentage should be 95%. I was fortunate enough to find the photographic montage work of Brooke Shaden I wrote to her and she replied, her message can be summarised as, take a RISK.
