I Hand Craft Pendants Using Quality Fabric pieces and set them in Bezels to make Beautiful Pendants

I am thankfully retired after working for most of my working years in various roles mainly around supporting families.

I am also very lucky to have had a wonderful kind and caring mother (Mary) who was very creative and talented. Mum would keep me and my siblings in fashion with her crafting skills. My Mum also had a wonderful mum of her own who was also very talented at her craft (in those days it was making lace) her name was Gioconda and this is where I now pay tribute to her by naming this shop after her.

My creativity is heavily inspired by mum and my grandmother, I feel them close to me and feel they are continuing to encourage me.

I get inspired by lots of beautiful things I see around me, including patterns on fabrics. I was recently overjoyed to have visited Liberty's in London, where I was like a child in a sweetshop trying to decide which pieces of fabric I would buy. This has also been a part of my inspiration to create these Pendants.
